Obituary for Elayne Perry (Marchigiani)

Elayne M. Perry, of Carmel, NY, died Friday, July 22, 2016 at Colombia-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, NY. She was 70 years old.

Mrs. Perry was born February 25th in Mt. Kisco, NY, daughter to the late Edward and Mary (Gulotta) Marchingiani. She graduated from Somers High School. On November 17, 1975 she married the love of her life Richard Perry in Daytona Beach, FL. Together they moved to Lake Carmel 25 years ago.
Elayne worked at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY from 1999- 2007 when she left on medical leave. She was also the unit secretary on the oncology floor at Putnam Hospital Center for 9 years.
Elayne was a caring woman that was always there for her family and friends. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed computer games. She loved going to the beach and swiming. Her pride and joy in life were her grandchildren.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her husband Richard Perry of 41 years, her daughter Traci Rabb of Carmel, NY, her brother Edward (Georgia) Marchigiani of Somers, NY and her 3 grandchildren; Savannah Rabb, Alyssa & Nicolas Rosati. She was pre-deceased by her grandson Aiden Rabb.
A private cremation was held. Beecher Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. www.beecherfuneralhome.com
