The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.
It so saddens me that mom has passed on but so grateful she did not suffer and went peacefully with the Lord in his heavenly kingdom. Since mom's health declined in April I spent 7 days a week caring for her and making sure she was comfortable and eating and not in any pain.
It will be a HUGE void in my life as mom lived just a few minutes from me in Brewster and we could always be found together with my daughter doing various things around town. She loved to eat, that was her passion, including music and cooking.
Mom was blessed with so many great friends like Joan and Nancy and those from her builidng and church. Thanks to those who took time out of their day to visit mom even when she was at her worst condition in the last days of her life. Thanks to Rick from First Bapist Church who came weekly to Waterview Nursing home to see mom even though mom was no longer aware of those around her. It meant so much to my sister and I we are grateful for those kind gestures and moments.
Love you mom always and forever, may you be in eternal peace and walking with your beloved family members in heaven
