Quinlan, J. Patrick entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2014, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family after an optimistic and courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Alma (nee Calise), is two daughters Maureen Pudelka of Danbury, CT, and Colleen Quinlan of Ridgewood, NJ. Two sisters Roseanna McKee of Green Island, NY and Carol Wilkerson of New Orleans, La, five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Patrick Quinlan was employed 37 years by the Address-Multigraph Corp., NYC as a senior Technical Representative.
He was born on March 17, 1943, St. Patrick’s Day, along with his twin Michael (predeceased) in Yonkers, NY, raised in Liberty, NY moving to Brewster, NY in 1972.
He was a member of the American Legion in Brewster and an active member of the BPOE 2101 Elks Lodge. He served as an officer, State Vice President and District Deputy of the Mid- Hudson District. He was the Lodge Treasurer for 38 years.
He spent his military time in the US Air Force flying radar surveillance planes as an Airborne Radar Technician for the Air Defense Command during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday February 22, 2014 10 AM at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster. Internment will private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm and Friday 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory can be made to United Cerebral Palsy.
