Life Story for Douglas V. Innes

Douglas V. Innes, of Brewster, NY, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday October 21, 2017. He was 67 years old.
Born on November 21, 1949 in the Bronx, NY, to the late Victor and Ethel (Karl) Innes. He was a 1969 graduate of Westlake High School and honorably served in the US Army reserves from 1969-1972.
Doug was a salesman. He could sell anything if you asked him about it. In his younger years he was a printer, and was very good at it. Doug enjoyed gardening and bird watching. He had a passion for music and was an avid Yankee fan. Doug enjoyed spending time in Florida and on the beach.
Mr. Innes is survived by his three children; his daughter Stefanie Westrick of Ridgefield, CT and his sons Paul and Kyle Innes of Brewster, NY, his 2 grandchildren Alexandra and James Westrick and many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at 10am at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Visitation will be on Monday 4-8pm at the funeral home.
