Obituary for Anthony J. "Tony" Mancini

Anthony Joseph Mancini, a lifelong resident of Mahopac, 94, died on December 4, 2019. Born October 19, 1925 to Mariano and Solinda in Pesaro, Italy
He served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Nantahala and finished his active duty in Washington DC before heading home to Mahopac, NY. He married the love of his life Joan (Busher) who predeceased him in 2009 after 56 years of marriage.
Tony and Joan owned and operated four restaurants and nightclubs from 1954 to 2008, The Village Barn, Circus, Bon Vivant and the Whistle Stop.
He was a quiet man with an amazing sense of humor, zest for life and a generous spirit. He is survived by two daughters, Gail Kinkler (Jim) & Joy Klvana (Michael), his grandchildren; Carly, Jed, Zak & Zoe. His sister Doris Simon, nephews Allan Arnell & Lewis Simon.
Join us in a celebration of life on December 12th at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave, Brewster from 4pm-7pm.
