Obituary

David L. Beers, of North Salem, NY, died peacefully at Westchester Medical Center on Saturday January 18, 2020. He was 63 years old.

Born on July 10, 1956 in Norwalk, CT, son of the late John L. and Virginia (Thorne) Beers. On January 15, 1979 he married the love of his life Ann Marie Brink. Together they enjoyed 41 years of marriage.

Dave was a contractor for many years, owning and operating his own business. He was very scientifically minded and loved to ‘explore’ the universe and how it worked. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, loved riding his Harley and working on cars and trucks. Dave was always able to tell you where the best Deli’s were, his love for food is what brought the family together. His greatest passion in life was his family.

Mr. Beers is survived by his loving wife, Ann Marie, his three children; Mandi Denhardt and her husband Mike of Lee, MA, Melinda LaPaointe and her husband Mark of Carmel, NY, and David L. Beers Jr and his fiancé Brainne Hopkins of North Salem, NY, his 4 grandchildren; Adrianna, Alexis, Spencer and David III and his 4 siblings; Virginia Bailey, Harry Beers, Susan Sinclair and Betsy Basler. He was predeceased by his siblings’ John Gillette, Garry Beers and Shannon Beers.

I remember the Beers family from my time in Croton Falls and North Salem schools. If I recall correctly David was my brother John's age and Harry and possibly a sister were classmates of mine. My positive thoughts for healing and please, keep all the good memories close. Sincerely, Jay Carollo
