Obituary

John R. Graziano, of Somers, NY, formerly of Leesburg, FL, died on Saturday April 25, 2020 due to complications from COVID-19. He was 92 years old.
Born on January 5, 1928 in Stamford, CT, son of the late Joseph and Vita (Aglioni) Graziano. John was a high school graduate and honorably served in the US Army being discharged on April 5, 1947 as a private first class at Camp Beal, CA. He received a certificate of nomination for outstanding service and loyalty to the United States of America from the Congress of the United States.
John married the love of his life Mary D ’Esposito on April 16,1950 at the Church of Saint Mary, in Marlboro, NY. They raised their family in Newburgh, NY and California before retiring to Leesburg, FL. They enjoyed 70 years of wedded bliss. She will greatly miss his company and love.
Mr. Graziano was an engineer with NASA in Pasadena, California for almost 30 years before retiring. He loved studying about science and medical advances. John was a very humble man. He was devoted to his wife and family, especially their son John. He will be greatly missed by all.
John is survived by not only his loving and devoted wife, Mary, but also his daughter, MaryAnn Esposito of North Salem, NY, his grandchildren, Joseph P. Esposito and his wife Paula Esposito and Peter J. Esposito and his wife Suzanne Esposito. Also, his great grandchildren; Joseph Peter Esposito, Gianna Esposito and Peter J. Esposito. He was predeceased by his son John A. Graziano in February 2012 and his son in law Peter Esposito in December 2019.
Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY is assisting the family at this time with arrangements. A private cremation is being held at this time; service details will be updated once ‘Stay at home’ is lifted.
